On July 2–3, 2025, the 7th JUVE Legal Operations Conference took place at the Hilton Hotel in Cologne. Over the course of about 1.5 days, industry experts, startups, and in-house counsel shared hands-on insights into the impact of AI on Legal Operations.

Keynote & Personal Impressions:
Achim Tschauder (Bucerius Legal Operations Campus) shared closing remarks highlighting the impact of AI on the business models of law firms – especially regarding pricing. He painted a realistic picture of declining billable hours and emphasized that modern firms must master “Fixed Fee Readiness.”
Another highlight was the closing keynote by Prof. Dr. Madeleine Bernhardt (Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession), who stressed the importance of corporate culture for successful AI transformation: “Culture always wins.”
